Compounded Solutions in Pharmacy is an independently owned, compounding only pharmacy.
The pharmacists are all trained and certified in the art of compounding. Compounded Solutions in Pharmacy is focused solely on compounded medications so that the best possible product can be made for each patient.
In addition to natural hormone replacement therapy, Compounded Solutions in Pharmacy provides compounding services to all medical specialties including pediatrics, podiatry, veterinary, and respiratory.
We are also aseptic certified and therefore offer a number of sterile products including both IV and IM injectables, ophthalmic ointments and drops, and inhalation solutions.
Since Compounded Solutions in Pharmacy first opened in 1999, we have been extensively involved in natural hormone replacement.
Our pharmacists are highly trained in the signs and symptoms of hormone imbalances in both men and women and work along with your physician to develop a hormone replacement plan that is customized to your needs.
Besides utilizing the most common hormones, the three estrogens and progesterone, we also work with testosterone, pregnenolone, cortisol, DHEA, and thyroid hormones. Depending on the patient we can customize a plan to include any combination of these.
Everyone knows one-size doesn’t fit all and compounding medications enables the pharmacists to customize each prescription. Our state of the art compounding lab enables us to formulate your prescription to your physician’s exact specifications.
Compounding has several advantages over conventional pharmacies. By specially compounding a medication, we are able to offer certain variations such as dye-free, preservative-free, and lactose-free. We can offer our medications in a variety of dosage forms to fit each patient’s lifestyle; we offer capsules, transdermal creams, and troches (similar to a cough drop) to name a few.
We offer shipping services to anywhere in the United States via UPS for a small fee or if you prefer you may pick up your prescription at our pharmacy in Monroe, CT.
We do not accept insurance but will gladly provide the forms required to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. We accept all major credit cards.
